Helen Price joins Church of England Pensions Board
The Church of England Pensions Board, which stewards the funds of around £3.2bn, has appointed Helen Price as its new director, governance covering responsible investment.
She announced her appointment at the pensions board on social media today (22 May). The board provides the retirement housing and pensions, set by the Church of England, for those who serve and work for the church. Overall, it assists over 42,000 people across almost 700 employers with their pensions.
Price joins Church of England from Brunel Pension Partnership, where she worked for almost six years in various roles including as head of stewardship and stewardship manager.
In her role at Brunel, which is one of the eight UK Local Government Pension Scheme pools, she oversaw engagement and voting, whilst also working alongside the investments team to integrate and consider environmental, social and governance issues.
Prior to that, she worked as an executive committee member for the LAPFForum, which is the leading voice for local authority pension funds across the UK. Price also worked as an investment officer at Avon Pension Fund.
