Faith Ward MBE has launched Faith in RI, an independent advisory practice focused on asset owner leadership, following her departure from Brunel Pension Partnership where she served as chief responsible investment officer since 2017.
The new firm specialises in responsible investment, climate and nature risk, stewardship, and transition finance. Commenting on the launch, Ward said that while tools for managing ESG risks have become more sophisticated, the political, financial, regulatory and environmental pressures facing asset owners have intensified.

Faith in RI will provide strategic advisory services to pension funds, endowments, and family offices, alongside board and non-executive roles aimed at strengthening institutional decision-making on sustainability.
A key component of the launch is the publication of the “Brunel Archive” on the new website. With the full permission of the Brunel Board and partner funds, the archive makes nine years of Brunel’s responsible investment policies, stewardship reports, and climate materials freely available to practitioners worldwide. Phase one includes principal reports from 2020 to 2026, with hundreds of case studies and articles scheduled for autumn 2026.
Ward, who was awarded an MBE in 2025 for services to pensions and the environment, resumes several voluntary roles including chair of the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC) and ambassador for the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI). She has also recently been appointed to the Advisory Board of the UK Government’s Clean Growth Fund.
