New York Climate Week 2026 kicks off – key events for investors to watch

Now in its 18th year, the annual gathering, which coincides with the UN General Assembly meeting, takes place this year under the theme of "Energy. Impact. Action."

Taking place against the backdrop of record-high oil and gas prices and a surge in energy demand because of the growing AI sector, delegates will discuss how to transition the world to renewable energy and phase out fossil fuels.

For investors, the more than 1,000 events scheduled across the city this week can easily feel overwhelming, so we have put together a list of interesting events to consider. It is by no means comprehensive but could serve as useful guidance.
